Innovation at the Heart of Cable Trail

Cable Trail was launched in 2015 by highly skilled and experienced engineer Nigel Myers, after he spotted a gap in the market for specialist cable management and identification products. Since then, Cable Trail has had the privilege of working with a varied number of sectors to meet their cable management needs, whether they are for temporary or semi-permanent solutions.

Following the launch of our first product, the Cable Trail unit – now known as Cable Track – we have been working hard to develop a range of ground-breaking solutions. In fact, we’ve secured three patents since the business was established, and Cable Trail’s products have significantly improved site safety, efficiency and asset compliance for our customers.

Our product portfolio includes cable management products, personalised asset management tags and a range of complimentary site Safety products such as interactive signs to combat “sign blindness”

Cable management

Innovation is at the heart of all we do, and nowhere more so than in our cable management systems. Our patented protection system for both temporary and semi-permanent cables can be quickly and easily loaded and locked into rows, then held tight between cable tracks spaced at up to three metres apart.

This replaces traditional trunking at the fraction of the cost, with both off-the-shelf and bespoke solutions with advanced features such as RFID chip location available and magnetic fixings.

Identification

We’re one of the UK’s fastest-growing manufacturers of asset management identification tags, working with well-known brands such as YESSS Electrical, BAE Systems and Allianz Insurance.

Further afield, we supply companies across Europe and Scandinavia, while exports to Africa and the Persian Gulf region have gone up by 46% in the past 12 months.

Recently Cable Trail has been working with a materials additive company to improve the print quality and consistency on its tags, significantly improving the versatility of the range, with the addition of a flexible tag solution with embedded UHF technology.

Our range also includes site safety products such as cable protectors and lockout tags, while we can also offer project management thanks to our network of strategic partners.
